Project Engineer East Anglia

The client is growing, orders for machinery are being won, and the machinery projects are larger and more complex. With a full order book now, and for some of 2026 too, my client needs to appoint 2 extra Project Engineers to a team taking these capital machinery orders through design, build, to handover.

• A mechanical or process engineer, who understands production machinery, factory process machinery or conveyors, materials handling or packaging machinery- and how it might be used in the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or general manufacturing industries.
• Someone who can talk with customers, agree the machines they need, the work to be done, P+IDs and layouts, project timescales, costs, technical details, organizing a high cost project for well-known customers from start to finish.
• International projects do mean international travel is part of this job, and you have to be prepared to travel to meet customers, attend final meetings, snagging and project handover on the customers factory site.
