Project Engineer

Job Description

About the Company - We are looking for two Design Engineers, 1 Mechanical and 1 Electrical. There will be significant customer liaison and on-site presence is required for a variety of Parcel and Post clients.

Responsibilities

1. A Mechanical/Layout/Project Engineer to graduate degree/HND level with a minimum of 2 years automated material handling system experience e.g. Baggage, Parcel, Warehouse, Conveyor systems.
2. CDM regulations (Perform detailed Risk Assessments etc.)
3. 2D & 3D AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit & BIM.
4. Exposure to building interfaces, services, steelwork, mezzanines.
5. Create layouts and documents required for site installation teams.
6. Knowledge of Machinery Safety Standards to aid operation and maintenance.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. 1 - 2 years' of experience of automated conveyor systems.
3. Strong experience in AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Revit.
4. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
