Project Engineer

Are you an experienced Project Engineer? Do you hold a relevant engineering degree or qualification? Have you previously worked in the offshore energy sector? If so, our client, an industrial equipment manufacturer, is recruiting for a Project Engineer for their site in Frimley. This role would involve being responsible for providing engineering advice to the project team and providing technical engineering and administrative project support for the successful completion of projects to time and within budget.

Job Description

1. Leading and coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes while supporting client and vendor relationships.
2. Managing technical and engineering aspects of projects, including documentation, specifications, inspections, and risk assessments.
3. Collaborating with global teams and attending client/vendor meetings, FAT inspections, and site visits as required.
4. Supporting business improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
5. Providing technical expertise on fabrication procedures, assembly works, quality control, and site acceptance testing.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

1. Degree in an engineering discipline, HND or equivalent experience.
2. Previous experience working in the offshore energy sector.
3. Significant experience in a similar role.
4. Experience of Project Management and Project Financials.
