Overview

Axi Recruitment is working on behalf our sister company for a highly skilled Project Engineer to join their dynamic team due to business growth.

The Project Engineer will provide support to a designated project portfolio, support development of planned deliverables, and monitor progress of deliverable completion in accordance with approved plans.

Job Details

  • Demonstrate safety leadership and behaviours.
  • Provide support to designated project portfolio through collaboration with client working groups either at site or from the office.
  • Support development of planned deliverables.
  • Monitor progress of deliverable completion in accordance with approved plan.
  • Track cost and schedule for assigned work packages.
  • Provide input into weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports working closely with the Project Planner.
  • Identify poor performance trends and provide recommendations of performance improvements.
  • Manage action tracking process.
  • Understand status of technical and engineering queries, expedite close out and communicate across team and with client.
  • Provide interface with Engineers or field team to ensure awareness of arising issues, communicate support requests to the Project Manager.
  • Identify scope delivery risks and support development of risk mitigation plans.
  • Support projects close out reports identifying lessons learned to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

  • Ideally be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or hold an HNC qualification as a minimum.

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Teamwork, cooperative attitude, effective communication, and flexible worker.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Chemicals or Power Generation sectors.
