JOB: Project Engineer

LOCATION: Oxfordshire

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: GBP 33,000 to GBP 43,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a cutting-edge engineering company based in Oxfordshire that is looking to hire a Project Engineer. This role is ideal for someone with strong project engineering experience, ideally within an R&D or scientific environment.

The Project Engineer Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes:

1. A degree or qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
2. Proven experience in project engineering, ideally within R&D, scientific, or high-tech industries.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, product development, and manufacturing processes.
4. Experience in managing projects from concept through to production or implementation.
5. Ability to coordinate between engineering, design, and manufacturing teams.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Experience with technical documentation, risk assessments, and compliance standards.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
9. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Project Engineer Role Will Involve:

1. Managing engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
2. Working closely with R&D, design, and production teams to develop new products and solutions.
3. Providing technical support and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Ensuring projects meet technical requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations.
5. Coordinating with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders to align project objectives.
6. Creating and maintaining project documentation, reports, and risk assessments.
7. Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
