Job description

MERITUS are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our client within the Aerospace industry on their major site in Broughton on an initial 12 month contract. PLEASE NOTE: This is an onsite role with 100% of time expected onsite in Broughton.

PROJECT ENGINEER - INSIDE IR35 - £36.70 PER HOUR - 9 MONTHS - BROUGHTON - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Responsibilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Support the Business by carrying out process mapping and requirement definition.
  2. Ensure analysis, design, development, integration, functional and technical acceptance, deployment.
  3. Ensure activities are completed in line with agreed budget, schedule and resources.
  4. Work with Stakeholders to define "AS IS" and "TO BE" Solutions.
  5. Provide Project Financial Management (Cost benefit analysis, planning, estimating, budgeting, funding, managing project expenses, and billing).
  6. Create all required Project documentation according to the agreed Governance model adopted.
  7. Ensure dependencies and risks are clearly identified, reported and managed.
  8. Identify and manage all risks relating to delivering the project to time, cost, and quality, including interdependencies with other projects or services.
Skills
  1. Project Management accreditation would be an advantage.
  2. Experience of working in a Production environment.
  3. Stakeholder management & building customer relationships.
  4. Analysing and simplifying complex topics and being able to make them understandable to stakeholders.
  5. Familiarity with Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 whys, Fishbone Analysis, Flowcharts would be an advantage.
  6. Experience in Generating Technical Specification based on Operational Requirements.
