Project Engineer - Chemical - Design

Greater Manchester - hybrid working

£40,000 - £50,000 (plus bonus and benefits)

Several Project Engineers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global Engineering client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, with constant liaison with the end customer.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications plus bonuses and benefits.

Overview of the Project Engineer role:

• Liaise with end customers and ensure project timeframes are adhered to.
• Work closely with wider Design and Project teams to ensure the company is kept updated with regards to ongoing Project progress.
• Ensure design specifications are accurate in line with customer order.

Key skills required for the Project Engineer role:

• Relevant Engineering degree with a minimum of 2/3 years post-graduation experience.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate project updates both internally and externally.
• A good understanding of Process Design and managing multiple projects at any one time.
