Project Engineer - West Midlands or South Yorkshire or Cornwall - up to £33,000 + Benefits - Ref 1897

I am currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to £33,000 + Benefits.

The organisation is a market leading engineering company that delivers a very well developed product portfolio to the UK water utilities market. They have an extensive track record of delivering high quality products and providing solutions for a wide range of problems, both complex and simple. With a wealth of experienced individuals, they can define and deliver the perfect solution.

To cope with the current workload and in line with their expansion plans they need to recruit for a Project Engineer on a permanent basis.

In this role as Project Engineer, you will liaise with customers to address any concerns or issues that may arise. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Troubleshooting problems over the phone and guiding customers through the necessary steps in hope of finding a resolution.
2. Utilizing a crib sheet to aid with problem solving investigations.
3. Coordinating with the site services team if the issue cannot be resolved remotely, providing them with diagnostic details to facilitate an on-site resolution.
4. Communicating with the customer once an appointment has been arranged and acting as the link and point of contact until the issue is resolved.

Essential Requirements:

1. Experience as a Project Engineer / Technical Support Engineer or similar.
2. Technical knowledge of Mechanical components (ideally Pumps and Valves).

Desirable Requirements:

1. Experience in the Water sector.
