Job description

Do you have strong knowledge of ROV offshore operations, in particular subsea construction and remote intervention?

Are you in a project engineering role at the moment, or currently working offshore & looking to move into an onshore position?

If so, NES Fircroft are supporting a key O&G client in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, with a ROV Project Engineer role, and we would love to hear from you.

This is a long term contract position, with an opportunity to transition into something permanent. Working 37.5 hrs per week and on completion of training, having the option to work hybrid (3/2), this is a great opportunity to work with a global leader within O&G.

Given the location of work, we can only consider UK nationals, or individuals with full RTW work in the UK.

Within the individual, we are looking for someone with good knowledge of ROV system design and system-level engineering, along with being up to date with ISO 13628-8.

Brief overview of role & responsibilities:
  • Complete documentation/manuals associated with newbuild Subsea / ROV systems & Equipment.
  • Review procedures and drawings in order to ensure practicality from an ROV operations point of view.
  • Awareness and understanding of the latest Industry Codes and Standards, including statutory rules and regulations.
  • To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with our client's policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters.
  • To ensure that personal safety and that of others is not compromised or placed at risk.
