Project Ecologist

Then our latest vacancy might be for you. Our client operates within a very specific niche, providing environmental consultancy services solely within the construction sector. They primarily support their clients during the post consenting and construction phases of development, helping to ensure that all projects adhere to strict environmental standards. As the new Project Ecologist, you'll be making a tangible difference by pushing sustainable practices within the construction and wider environmental sectors. This role would be ideal for an experienced Senior looking to progress to Principal level but is open to Consultants through to Associate Directors.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Ecologist, you will be supporting clients throughout, acting as a professional point of contact, liaising with key stakeholders and providing advice to non-professionals. Your duties will include meeting ecological requirements of the client, delivering mitigation strategies and when required undertaking a variety of ecological surveys. You will be expected to manage your own projects and support more junior staff members and take on Ecological Clerk of Works duties.

Requirements:

To be considered for this Project Ecologist role, you will need the following:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the construction sector
2. Experience undertaking duties as an Ecological Clerk of Works
3. An understanding of duties performed by a Project Ecologist
4. Ideally based in or a commutable distance from Glasgow
5. Strong experience with a range of Ecological Surveys
6. Full UK drivers' license
7. Experience managing projects
