Client is seeking a sharp Project Director for a challenging project for a Global Retail client. Project outside of Peterborough with a construction cost of £75 Million and a program under 31 weeks.

• Main Contractor is seeking a Project Director with experience & knowledge of Logistics, Distribution, Pharma or Data Centre projects. You will have a network across the supply chain, clients and external consultants.

Plan is that as Project Director you will be based on site. Whilst delivering this project you will be adding assistance to the Head office on final negotiations on a smaller award (£31 Million) for another long term client. Project is based 4 Miles from your site hence the input as the programs on site will overlap on time.

Chief Operations Officer is looking to appoint someone that can grow into an Operational Role handling a portfolio of 1-3 Projects in this geographical region. The patch so to speak, would be from Nottingham across to Peterborough, Norwich, South as Luton and up to Birmingham.

You will have experience looking after the full scope of work from client & stakeholder management, driving the project teams, handling the overall risk, cost and contracts through your Commercial Manager. You will protect the entitlement and progress all whilst keeping the client engaged throughout the life cycle on site through to final account.

Business seeks Project Directors to lead from the front and do, opposed to just delegating! Anyone coming from a Top 15 UK Main Contractor may find Project Teams light and programs aggressively quick.

Both of these factors are true and just part of the element that lead to the success and profitability for the group. It's a flat management structure and decisions are made quickly to protect the program and the businesses agile approach to client management.

The organization will not accept any egos, only team players. This attitude and ethic are ingrained from the Gate Keeper on site through to the Owner of the business. You will be expected to make quick gut feeling decisions and this is where the experience and time served on site comes in.

You will understand team spirit and have the ability to get the most out of everyone around him/her, this includes sub-contractors, stakeholders & team mates. If you are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure project success you can expect to be locked in by this employer. The reality of this is pay reviews and bonuses that can range up to 50% of your annual package. These payments are generally split through the year at key intervals. Yes, the role will be challenging, stressful and dynamic like any Project Director will have experienced handling Major Works.

• As seen the Basic Salary Range is £125-145,000 Per Annum
