PROJECT COLOUR CONSULTANT (Part Time – 21 hours per week)

Brickworks VIC has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate Project Colour Consultant (Part-Time, 21 hours per week) to join our team at our Design Centre in Lynbrook, VIC.

Reporting to the Retail Sales Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to provide expert colour scheme and design advice, along with outstanding customer service, to assist clients in selecting exterior colours for their new homes.

In addition, you will support both internal and external customers with a range of service and sales enquiries across Brickworks’ extensive product range. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service through multiple channels, including phone, email, and digital platforms.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Schedule and manage client selection appointments, guiding them through colour themes and material choices.
  2. Assist with product planning using Brickworks' range and complete selection sheets.
  3. Provide professional advice on Austral Bricks and Brickworks products, ensuring all sales enquiries are handled promptly via phone, email, and digital channels.
  4. Process and verify customer orders in Maximise and Salesforce, handling order changes and maintaining accurate records.
  5. Ensure all colour selections are entered in Salesforce and follow pricing guidelines, confirming details with customers before processing orders.
  6. Report weekly on key metrics, including DIFOT, Net Promoter Score, customer visits, and board pack figures.
  7. Support the smooth operation of the Design Centre and maintain a clean, presentable workspace.
  8. Represent Austral Bricks as a front-line company ambassador, providing high-quality service to customers and assisting in business growth.
  9. Ensure efficient banking and adherence to company policies.

Success Requirements:

  1. Qualification in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, or related field preferred.
  2. Building industry knowledge and of building products would be an advantage.
  3. Passionate about customer service and demonstrated experience.
  4. Experience with colour selections and/or interior design would be ideal.
  5. Excellent administration, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
