PROJECT COORDINATOR - MATERNITY COVER
Location: United Kingdom, Aberdeen – Full time – Apply before 09.01.25
This position is a 12-month contract covering maternity leave and is based in our Aberdeen office, 1 Minto Place, Altens.
Mission
The Project Coordinator works within the Operations team delivering connectivity solutions to our clients. The Project Coordinator supports the project management team in the delivery of Company Connectivity Project solutions. They assist in managing project activities within the constraints of Scope, Schedule, Quality, and Cost. The Project Coordinator helps ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget, and they assist in coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
Main Goals and Tasks
- Assist in the delivery of assigned projects within Cost, Quality, and Schedule constraints.
- Coordinate with internal team members for the execution of project tasks.
- Ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within scope.
- Assist in reviewing resource allocation and availability with managers/leads and escalate issues as needed.
- Help develop and maintain project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Assist in managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Support the relationship with assigned clients.
- Assist in performing risk management to minimize project risks.
- Provide and track project accounting information.
- Assist in project accounting for all financial information contained in the project financial tracker, including the project financial summary.
- Ensure that project status, issues, and successes are communicated to project teams, and all levels of management and documented appropriately.
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Preferred Knowledge for the Position
- Project management certification (desirable but not essential).
- Project team experience within the IT, telecommunications, connectivity environment, deploying projects (desirable but not essential).
- Effective delegation and time management skills.
- Flexible and willing to meet customer requirements.
- Experience with ERP and incident management data entry systems.
- Experience with standard MS Office applications including Microsoft Project.
Preferred Skillset for the Position
- Capable of working under pressure and on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Multi-task effectively both independently and within a team.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels and participate in teamwork.
