Job description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Brainomix, a leading medical imaging AI company based in Oxford. This role reports to the Programme Manager and requires a detail-oriented individual with a background in project management in a software development environment. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, AI researchers, clinicians, and regulatory specialists, to ensure the timely delivery of innovative AI solutions in the stroke and lung healthcare spaces.


Requirements


Essential Requirements:


Education:


  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Science).

Experience:


  1. Proven experience in a project coordination or management role in software or mobile app delivery, preferably within healthcare.
  2. Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and AI applications is advantageous.

Technical Skills:


  1. Proficiency in software project management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence or equivalent).
  2. Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.

Soft Skills:


  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams around the world.
  2. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities.
  3. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Desirable Requirements:


  1. Familiarity with clinical workflows and healthcare IT standards (e.g., DICOM, HL7, FHIR).
  2. Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and their implications for medical software.
  3. Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile) is highly desirable.
  4. Demonstrated experience working within regulated environments (e.g. ISO 13485, CE marking, FDA regulations).
  5. Ability to adapt to fast-paced, innovative environments.
