Job description

FINTEC recruit is supporting hiring for a Project & Contracts Manager for a renewables business based in Jersey. This is a permanent position with salary up to circa GBP60,000 plus bonus & benefits eg pension, Income protection, private healthcare. Driving success and growth dealing with customers for commercial solar panel installations involved in the full cycle from enquiry to project completion in joining a dynamic team with opportunity for business & professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the full lifecycle of solar and roofing installations, from site surveys to project handovers.
  2. Guide the Sales and Design teams, setting targets, providing support, and ensuring top-tier performance.
  3. Follow up on leads, maximise conversion opportunities, and contribute to business development.
  4. Improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance project efficiency.

Skills & Experience required for the Project & Development position:

  1. Experience in B2B business development and project management.
  2. Able to undertake estimates for roofing installations or estimates from working in construction with mechanical/electrical experience being a strong advantage.
  3. Experience of estimating/quantify surveyor within solar, roofing or within the construction sector.
  4. Have a commercial mindset with contracts management experience.
