Project Architect

Location: Wiltshire

Salary: £40-45,000 (dependent on experience)

A well-established and respected architectural studio is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Project Architect to join their dynamic team in Wiltshire. The practice is renowned for delivering beautifully crafted projects across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on high-end residential work. The team fosters a culture of innovation, collaboration and design excellence. This position presents the chance to play a key role in projects from early concept through to completion, with a strong focus on both design leadership and technical coordination.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Taking ownership of projects through all RIBA stages, with a focus on delivery
  2. Producing high-quality design and technical documentation
  3. Managing client relationships and coordinating with consultants and contractors
  4. Overseeing project programmes and ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  5. Supporting and guiding junior team members while contributing to internal design reviews

The ideal candidate will have:
  1. ARB accreditation
  2. A strong design portfolio showcasing technical knowledge and creative thinking
  3. Significant experience across RIBA stages, particularly stages 3-5
  4. Proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Suite desirable
  5. Confident communication and team leadership skills
  6. A detail-oriented, proactive attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for quality design
