Job description

Role: Project Administrator

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire - office based role

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm & Friday 8:30am - 4pm

Salary: £27,500 per annum + performance bonus

Benefits: 22 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays - rising to 25 days after 1 year of service, company enrolled pension scheme, regular performance appraisals and continual formal training and development.

Exciting opportunity to join this business in their Project/ Engineering team as a Project Administrator. Ideally you will have a technical background and customer-facing experience. This role involves coordinating with clients regarding project proposals, managing project-related documentation, and ensuring seamless operations across sales and installations teams.

Duties will include:
  1. Manage client communications and expectations for projects
  2. Develop cost estimates and collaborate on client proposals
  3. Contact suppliers to get prices for components
  4. Quantify materials for each project
  5. Build cost estimates on the internal system
  6. Verify and ensure timely completion of quotes and proposals
  7. Maintain accurate project data and process sales orders
  8. Organise site visits and manage project documentation
  9. Liaise with suppliers, engineers and site teams
  10. Track project progress and keep clients updated
Skills and Experience Required:
  1. Experience in data entry or a customer-facing role is beneficial
  2. Familiarity with Adobe Pro and MS Office
  3. Capability to plan, prioritise, and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
  4. Background in process pipework or high purity systems is a plus but not essential
  5. Interest or qualifications in Manufacturing or Engineering
