Project Accountant

Role: Project Accountant
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid working)
Salary: Up to GBP60,000 p/annum

CPS Group UK is supporting a world leading organisation that specialise in engineering technology in hiring a Project Accountant.

As the Project Accountant, you'll be supporting international contracts/projects with everything finance related, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow. You'll liaise with international and domestic stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support multiple large-scale projects with cash flow planning and budgeting.
2. Create budgets, forecasts, project accounts, and financial reports for executive review.
3. Monitor and control expenditures to ensure alignment with established budgets.
4. Analyse and report on the financial implications of project changes and associated risks.
5. Oversee cost control and governance by reviewing invoices to confirm compliance with approved limits and contracts.

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. Must hold either ACA, or CIMA.
2. Ideally have worked either oversees, or on international projects.
3. Meticulous attention to detail.
4. Proficient in accounting systems.
