Your Role:

As the Project Accountant, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring the smooth transfer of services for a go-live on 1 April 2025. Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll play a crucial role in:

1. Recording, forecasting, and reporting mobilisation costs
2. Supporting the Due Diligence process with insightful analysis and interpretation
3. Identifying and mitigating financial risks
4. Building cost centre structures and establishing reporting and approval hierarchies
5. Leading budget builds based on due diligence findings
6. Managing cutover processes such as asset transfer, suppliers, customers, property, and treasury
7. Costing sub-contracts and service level agreements for both revenue and expenditure
8. Implementing key control processes and training on systems like Proactis

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills and Experience:

1. Minimum AAT qualification with extensive experience in a similar role
2. Project experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
3. IT literacy and the ability to quickly adopt new systems
4. Driving license and access to a car

3. Adaptability in a dynamic reporting environment
4. Confidence to challenge operational management when necessary
5. Strong relationship-building skills
6. Clear communication of complex financial issues to non-financial stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

1. Proficiency in PowerPoint
2. Experience with systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Proactis, and iTrent
3. Background in the NHS or care sector
