Job description

A leading public transportation company is seeking a Programme Manager to support the mobilisation of a high-profile operation.

Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will oversee various workstreams to ensure they stay aligned to time and budget and provide hands-on expertise to ensure smooth progress across projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support governance structure implementation and ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.
  • Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Oversee relationships with vendors, third parties, and prepare presentations for steering committee on programme progress.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple workstreams and ensure they are delivering on-time and within budget.
  • 4-6 years’ experience working in PMO functions within complex mobilisation programmes.
  • Experience in complex capital projects, rail, transport, infrastructure, or aviation sectors is a must.

  • Day rate: £650 - £750 LTD, dependent on experience
  • Start date: January 2025
  • Duration: 4-6 months
  • Location: 5 days in central London office
