We have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Lead to work within Rolls-Royce Power Systems (RRPS) in Bristol on contract until the end of 2025. The Programme Lead role will be available on a hybrid working arrangement.

As Programme Lead you will be taking responsibility for the delivery of multiple projects for a pivotal programme of work.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Be accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work.
  2. Define and phase programme tranches (projects and other related work) to achieve programme benefits.
  3. Establish, develop, and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work.
  4. Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
  5. Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.
  6. Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules.
  7. Organise and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.

Who we’re looking for:

  1. Experience in a similar complex engineering Programme Management role within aerospace, defence or naval environment.
  2. Understanding engineering processes and have proven experience in delivering in this environment.
  3. Member of a professional body and working towards an APMPQ qualification or equivalent.
  4. Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information with individuals at all levels within the organisation and influence behaviour.
  5. Be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
  6. Ability to gain SC.
