Job description

We are hiring a Program Manager to run complex and cross-functional supply chain projects. This role is a part of the centralized supply chain planning function for GSF Operations in India. The incumbent will drive capacity planning charter for GSF business. We are looking for individuals with a proven ability to drive process improvements and the capability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment. The individual should have a can-do attitude and an ability to solve problems independently with limited guidance. Your role will involve managing operational metrics, leading continuous improvement processes and cost initiatives, and planning for new launches in the network. This role involves streamlining current processes, developing automated solutions, and implementing efficiency improvement initiatives.

Key Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will own the following:

  1. They will be responsible for working with category, finance, Operations team, Instock managers, and other Amazon teams to drive the capacity planning drumbeat and cadence to balance cost and SWOOS.
  2. The incumbent will be responsible for driving improvement in cube planning by deep diving into the reasons, developing mechanisms to track and improve the SWOOS.
  3. The incumbent will drive the adoption of the capacity planning tool and improve its accuracy.
  4. They will track the key metrics of the capacity planning process and drive efficiency and improvement along with stakeholders.
  5. They will liaise across functions to drive their project and help clear issues and bottlenecks.
  6. They will work with technology teams to scope out and drive any tech changes that are needed.

Program Managers will be measured on the impact of their initiatives. Depending on the project, clear financial or other impact goals will be set forth. It is the individual's responsibility to ensure they drive the program towards achieving those goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 3+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience.
