Unspecified: The Associate Director is the Value Stream Leader for the Goodrich-Messier Joint Venture for Wheels & Brakes, accountable for customer satisfaction, full-life cycle performance, and P&L management. The Wheels & Brakes portfolio with the Goodrich-Messier Joint Venture consists of over $250M in annual revenue for products and services Airbus on the A321 and the A330 family of programs.
The Associate Director leads a multi-company cross-functional team tasked with executing all commitments to Airbus and our Airline customers, including production deliveries, quality, fleet reliability and issue resolution, commercial terms and conditions, aftermarket support, and total cost of ownership. As the main interface to the customer, Airbus, this role is accountable for the execution and delivery of all resources to ensure customer satisfaction, including quality, cost and delivery.
The Associate Director acts as the voice of the customer and drives customer satisfaction while supporting the business unit’s long-term objectives, and collaborates across functions and levels to deliver improved processes and performance to meet and exceed customer plans and expectations. This role consists of a three-year term, per the guidelines established for the Joint Venture.
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader. May be eligible for relocation.
In this role, you will:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
Development program management, risk management, and aftermarket experience. Experience delivering product or industrial performance, fleet implementation, and financial results. Ability to build strong customer relationships, deliver results in a complex cross-functional environment, lead through influence, and negotiate contracts.
