St. Leonard’s Community Services (SLCS) is seeking a full-time Program Administrator for Project Home, a Housing First Program. As a member of this interdisciplinary team, you will be required to provide administrative support to Project Home and reception duties for the building at 371 King St.
Project Home
This role provides direct support to the Project Home Program Managers, Team Leaders, and frontline staff to maintain an efficient, organized, and communicative work environment. You will be responsible for several administrative tasks, such as tracking of assets, tracking purchases, preparing reports, maintaining filing systems, inputting data into software, ordering/shopping for program supplies, tracking and reconciliation of petty cash, and documenting meeting minutes. You will also liaise with suppliers, our security company, and other contracts associated with the programs in the building. You will be integral in assisting the team with tracking, inputting, and maintaining data inputs for housing subsidies. As a member of this team, you will also review and maintain supply inventory while liaising with the Executive Administrator and Finance Associate to coordinate tasks as assigned. You will coordinate the on and off boarding of employees of the program and complete other administrative tasks as required by the program.

In addition to providing support to Project Home, you will provide reception support duties for the entire building, including but not limited to: answering the door, assessing safety concerns, notification to programs of patrons, interfacing with participants, ordering and receiving deliveries, coordinating shipments, and other tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the building. As the receptionist at King St, this position requires the ability to interact through a non-judgmental approach. You may be required to apply skills of nonviolent conflict resolution and crisis management when our service recipients are here to access employees and services on site.

This role requires excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. The candidate has the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment as well as engage in collaboration as part of a team. The candidate will be able to maintain strong boundaries and will maintain confidentiality pertaining to the participants served within the worksite. St. Leonard’s Community Services approaches situations through a non-judgmental, inclusive, diverse lens and as such, the candidate will demonstrate these competencies. Given the diverse populations we serve, the candidate must have the ability to work in a professional manner and understand the population served within St. Leonard’s. Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and Crisis Prevention and Intervention is preferred. The candidate will have computer skills including technical problem solving and knowledge of the MS Office suite. Intermediate proficiency with technology will be essential as the candidate will be coordinating repairs and/or technical issues with IT service provider. As an SLCS employee, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the workplace and your co-workers during your employment. This position would primarily be located at 371 King St, but would require travel in and around the London area as required.
