UCL School of Pharmacy is one of the world’s leading centers of excellence for pharmaceutical science, education, and professional engagement. The school has a well-established track record in high quality research across a broad range of drug delivery, drug discovery, pharmacy, and patient safety related areas as well as in the development of spinout companies bringing new therapeutic strategies to the patient.
The UCL School of Pharmacy is located within the Faculty of Life Sciences (FLS) and is one of five areas that constitute the faculty. The faculty has been associated with seven Nobel Laureates and continues to build on its existing strengths in cell and developmental biology, evolutionary and population genetics, cellular and circuits neuroscience, and structural and molecular biology.
This is a full-time permanent role for Professor/Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy/Clinical Pharmacology, a senior member of the Research Department of Practice and Policy. This position will further develop our research portfolio within the healthcare arena including clinical pharmacy and clinical pharmacology, medication safety, pharmacoepidemiology, medicines optimisation, and clinical trials in primary and/or secondary care.
The successful candidate will lead the delivery of the professional and clinical elements of the undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed for pharmacists in the UK and elsewhere.
The successful candidate will lead on the research and teaching in clinical practice/clinical pharmacology, delivering high quality research and designated courses/modules, lectures and workshops.
