This position would suit a manager with experience in leading either a PS team or PMO delivering network and infrastructure projects. You will have experience in delivering highly complex network and infrastructure projects from a leadership perspective, including the definition and development of processes and governance.

This pivotal role involves overseeing service delivery excellence, optimizing engineer utilization, and managing both professional services and managed services teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, motivate, and mentor a diverse team of Professional Services and Managed Services Engineers.
  2. Manage team performance, ensuring high utilization rates without compromising service quality.

Service Delivery Excellence

  1. Oversee end-to-end service delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of projects and ongoing services.
  2. Maintain operational alignment with client needs and business objectives.

Strategic Operations Management

  1. Define and implement operational strategies to enhance engineer utilization and overall service efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership to align service operations with the company's strategic goals.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  1. Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, understanding their strategic and operational needs.
  2. Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable service delivery.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  1. Drive initiatives to optimize service delivery processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance overall performance.
  2. Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Resource Planning & KPI Management

  1. Monitor and manage resource allocation to meet service demand and maintain utilization targets.
  2. Provide accurate forecasting and capacity planning to align with business growth.

Reporting & Metrics

  1. Deliver regular performance reports to senior management, covering KPIs, engineer utilization, and client satisfaction metrics.
  2. Identify and address performance gaps, recommending strategies for improvement.

Skills & Experience Required:

Experience:

  1. 10+ years in IT/network engineering, including 4+ years in a leadership role within professional and managed services.
  2. Proven ability to manage teams, ensuring high utilization and effective service delivery.

Management Skills:

  1. Strong expertise in managing professional services and managed services operations.
  2. Proficient in resource planning, utilization tracking, and process optimization.

Technical Expertise:

  1. Advanced knowledge of enterprise network solutions and services.
  2. Experienced in delivering complex technical network solutions across LAN, WLAN, Data Centre Networks & SD WAN.

Certifications & Frameworks:

  1. ITIL V3 Foundation certified, with a deep understanding of service management best practices.
  2. Project management experience is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  1. Exceptional client management and relationship-building abilities.
  2. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  3. Other Requirements:
  4. Eligibility for SC Clearance (desirable).
