Production Technician - Medical Technology

Location: Welwyn Garden City (You will need to be able to relocate to Oxford in May 2025)

Company: Join a dynamic team at a leading medical device company currently based in Welwyn Garden City. In February 2025 the company is moving into a brand new flagship site based in Oxford.

They are looking for a Production Technician to contribute to the assembly, testing, cleaning, and packaging of implantable medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies and finished devices in a clean-room environment with precision and care.
2. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company values.
3. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
4. Collaborate with supervisors for efficient work planning.
5. Conduct in-process inspections and independent verification of work.
6. Actively participate in process and product development initiatives.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. It would be ideal if you have worked in a cleanroom environment.
2. Experience working with high precision assembly ideally under microscope.
3. Experience in high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies.
4. Proficient soldering skills and experience with PCBAs.
5. Strong visual inspection abilities and attention to detail.
