The role…
His Majesty’s Theatre is home to the renowned Phantom of the Opera, one of London’s longest running musicals - truly a staple in London’s West End!
We're currently looking for a proactive and engaged Electrics Production Technician to join the team and facilitate the smooth and safe running of the show.
What you’ll be doing…
- You'll be working on all shows, and technical rehearsals of Phantom of the Opera.
- As part of the Production Technician team, you will be prepping the show each day and helping to conduct safety checks.
- Working closely with the visiting company and its Stage Management to ensure the smooth and safe operation of each show.
- Working as part of a team to maintain a professional work environment, where performers, technicians and audience members are safe.
- Problem solving during live performances.
- Conducting maintenance of the show, so it always looks its best.
- Some roles may require supervisory responsibilities.
- Ad hoc project work as directed by the Heads of Department.
- Manual handling is necessary in these roles and training will be provided.
What we need…
Hours: 40 hours per week contract
Salary: SOLT / BECTU Grade 4 of £ + show bonus
