Job description

Job Role: Production Technician

Location: Telford

Shift: Rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

Pay Rate: 33,000 - 40,000 per annum

Benefits: Health & Lift insurance, Overtime, Training available, Health Cash Plan, brand new machinery, Regular pay reviews, Tech Scheme.

The Company:

A well-established food manufacturing company who recently expanded and are looking for Production Technicians to support with the expansion.

The Production Technician Candidate:

  1. Must have experience working with and fixing different types of automated machinery.
  2. Previous experience working with food machinery preferred but not essential.
  3. Must be enthusiastic, willing to learn new techniques & technologies, and drive for improvements and lean manufacturing.
  4. Take ownership of the production line to ensure it's running smoothly and efficiently.

The Production Technician Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain, fix, and operate automated and packaging processing machinery.
  2. Run different lines to operating standards, perform line changeovers, and start-ups for different orders and customers.
  3. Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety Standards.
  4. Run different lines to operating standard procedures.
