Production Team Supervisor

Hours: 40 hours per week

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Permanent

Duties:

1. Supporting the Production Manager in day-to-day manufacturing operations.
2. Overseeing production scheduling for a team of approx. 10 staff, allocation of work, and monitoring performance.
3. Reading CAD drawings, working to customer specifications, identifying discrepancies, and communicating with the design team.
4. Managing and requesting materials and stock.
5. Ensuring adherence to quality and health and safety standards.

Experience:

1. Must have a good level of previous experience within either a mechanical or engineering background including a good technical aptitude and the ability to read drawings.
2. Must have previous supervisory experience and be able to lead as well as work as part of a wider team.
3. Must have good organisational capabilities and strong communication skills.

Salary: up to 28,000 per annum, dependent upon experience.
