Production Team Member
Shift Pattern: Nights Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am
Salary: £32,418

We’re part of the Marshalls PLC, the UK’s leading manufacturer of hard landscaping, building and roofing products!

Manufacturing is at the heart of our operation, it's where we fulfil the customer promise and produce the UK’s leading brick and masonry products! It’s within this successful team that we’re recruiting for a Night Shift Production Team Member. You'll work within our busy manufacturing site operating press and shot blast machinery, hand-powered tools, and mobile plant such as Forklift trucks to move stock around the site. You’ll learn all about our manufacturing, safety, quality, waste, and OEE techniques and processes.

You will work as part of a skilled team to manufacture high-quality concrete products using the best technology and ensure that health and safety are at the heart of everything you do!

Don’t worry if you’ve not worked in our industry before; we can teach you everything there is to know about Manufacturing. All we ask is that you have a positive ‘can do’ outlook, be a good communicator, and have the willingness to learn.

What are the skills required?

• Experience working in a Production/Manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
• A strong work ethic
• Good level of English, verbal and written
• Basic computer user experience will be required
• Current accredited FLT licence (preferred but not essential)
• A forward-thinking individual continually looking at improving processes and wastes
• Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is advantageous
