Production Support Engineer (Windows / Linux SQL) Remote UK to £65k

Opportunity to progress your career at a well-established US-based eTrading software house that is expanding its UK presence. The company was founded by two experienced Hedge Fund managers who are on a mission to create a trusted, vendor-neutral trading platform solution for Asset Managers and Hedge Funds globally.

As a Production Support Engineer, you will join a globally dispersed team to ensure that production systems are running efficiently and provide technical support to users 24/7. You'll be monitoring systems to ensure their availability and responsiveness, collaborating closely with software engineers and QA engineers to suggest and implement system improvements.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home remotely from anywhere in the UK on a full-time basis.

About you:

• You have experience in a similar Production Support / Technical Support position.
• You have experience of supporting large-scale, business-critical systems - preferably with an understanding of OMS trade order management / trade execution systems.
• You have a strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems.
• You have a good knowledge of SQL.
• You are degree educated in a STEM discipline.
• Experience with FIX protocol would be of benefit but isn't essential.
