Job description

We are working with our client who is a successful CNC and Assembly business based in Bishop Auckland. The ideal candidate will oversee the safe and proper manufacturing of the company's products. In order to do this, the candidate will troubleshoot issues, ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the company, and coordinate a team of production employees to make sure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise a team of CNC production staff
  2. Ensure the machinery is functional
  3. Ensure the team hits production targets and manage any issues
  4. Ensure safe operations
  5. Make sure that the products and machinery are in line with regulatory standards
  6. Lead team members and track metrics

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  2. CNC experience preferred
  3. Proficient in Excel and 3+ years supervisory experience
  4. Ability to act independently
  5. Strong communication skills
