Backshift (1645-0315) + up to 6 hours overtime paid.

We are working with a great company with an established name in their sector spread over a number of businesses and over 1500 people in various locations across the UK.

Now seeking a Production Supervisor:

• Hands-on role
• Delivering to targets including output levels, quality, Health & Safety, Customer satisfaction, budgets
• Team supervision including managing team performance and staff training and development
• Identifying and driving improvements
• Ensuring employee resources and working patterns meet demands of production
• Providing support and cover for Managers when required

Do you have:

• Experience as Production Supervisor working for a manufacturer (ideally manufacturing for construction)
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices in manufacturing
• Proven experience in production and resource planning
• Previous experience using an ERP system
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement techniques
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing setting

As Production Supervisor you will ultimately be working the Backshift (1645-0315) although initially during your induction period you will be required to work the day shift (likely to be 0800-1800). Working hours are 40 per week (Monday to Thursday) with flexibility for up to 46 hours (covering 1645-0445, coordinating with other Production Supervisors) during busy periods.
