Production Supervisor

We're hiring for a Production Supervisor to join a large-scale manufacturing site in Glossop.

If you've got experience in managing teams within a manufacturing or production setting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you.

1. £13.04 per hour
2. Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm
3. Overtime available (depending on production demand)

What will you be doing as a Production Supervisor?

1. Leading a team of Production Operatives to meet safety, cost, and quality targets
2. Creating a safe working environment and carrying out H&S briefings
3. Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting best practice
4. Managing staffing levels and training needs within your area
5. Supporting maintenance and engineering teams to keep assets running smoothly
6. Monitoring supply of materials, overseeing stock takes, and keeping accurate records
7. Ensuring all production documentation and procedures are maintained and up to date
8. Acting as a role model for safety, performance, and engagement across your team

What do you need?

1. 3-5 years of proven experience in a similar supervisory role
2. Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting
3. Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
4. Experience using SAP (desirable)
5. ILM or IOSH qualifications (desirable)
