Production Supervisor

Shipyard Staffing is currently hiring for Production Supervisors for work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA.

Requirements:

1. Must have a fully adjudicated Secret clearance.
2. Must be a US Citizen.

Job Description:

1. Duties include but are not limited to having the overall responsibilities of detailing, briefing, and timekeeping of a various group of individuals in moving large and heavy equipment, components, and tools for shipyard and ships force in a timely manner.
2. As a supervisor you will oversee, identify, organize and supervise the removal and installation of large components.
3. Supervise the maneuvering of industrial equipment for the transfer of goods and material onto piers and boats in a safe and efficient manner.
4. Perform general maintenance of such equipment as required.
5. Responsible for developing, teaching, communicating and leading by example to help employees that are assigned to establish, build, and maintain good leadership qualities.
