We are now seeking a talented Production Shoot Assistant to join the NET-A-PORTER / MR PORTER Brand Creative team, the in-house creative agency for NET-A-PORTER / MR PORTER and the brands we partner with. This role will support the Creative team with shoot production and administrative tasks to help create digital campaigns and editorial shoots for NET-A-PORTER / MR PORTER.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  1. Working closely with Design, Fashion and Production to lead pre- to post-production of shoots including timings, resource, props, manage costs, couriers, models, retouching. Clearly plan, communicate and troubleshoot to ensure smooth delivery of assets.
  2. Administration of shoot budgets and department costs by raising purchase orders, logging invoices, tracking payments, credit card statements, and completing expense claims.
  3. Support production of campaign shoots by sourcing props, location research, casting models, hair, and make-up artist bookings, catering.
  4. Booking couriers and team travel.
  5. Administrative support for call-sheets, contacts database, creative pitches, shoot and retouch calendar, magazine archive and booking meeting rooms.
  6. Coordinate image delivery of mark-ups, reviews and amends with Art Directors and retouchers. Keep the post-production schedule up to date and communicate any delays with the schedule to all stakeholders.
  7. Contribute to and take notes in shoot meetings to ensure details are comprehensive. Follow up on actions as needed.
  8. Develop relationships with key agencies on a global scale for creative services including photographers, models, hair, make-up, locations and props. Update and maintain contact directories.
  9. Single-handedly produce tier two editorial shoots, portrait shoots and social still life shoots.

  1. Strong eye for detail, well organised, methodical and accurate.
  2. Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude who enjoys working as a team and goes the extra mile.
  3. Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a drive to see tasks through to completion.
  4. Excellent communication skills and an approachable attitude within the team and other internal departments is a must.
  5. Professional manner with the maturity and discretion to handle confidential information.
  6. Good sense of humour and radiates enthusiasm.
  7. An unflappable nature with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  8. Awareness and interest of activities happening around the department with a strong willingness to learn new skills.
  9. Experience in managing budgets and working in Excel.
  10. Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel, basic knowledge of Adobe software.
  11. Interested in fashion, design, photography and moving image.
  12. Understanding of technical aspects of studio and location photography and an aptitude for learning new technology.
