The Role:
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced production shift manager who has experience of leading teams within a continuous process manufacturing environment. Your day-to-day duties will consist of leading a team to ensure targets are met, whilst ensuring safety and engagement are at the forefront of activities.

1. Promoting Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. Responsible for a team of process operators and man management required.
2. The role requires strong influencing and communication skills, with resilience and the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels, fostering positive team working across all stakeholders.
3. This is a fast-paced role, where the ability to make decisions and question are key aspects, particularly to challenge the norm and support a back to basics plan for the department.
4. Delivering key objectives to ensure the company achieves their vision and brand values.

The Candidate:

1. Production Shift Management/ Supervisory experience
2. From a manufacturing background
3. Worked within the food industry or FMCG ideal
4. Able to lead a team, hands-on when required
5. Health and Safety awareness and understanding
6. Understanding of CI and Lean/Six Sigma (ideal)
