Applicants to the Production Shift Manager vacancy are invited from a wide range of manufacturing backgrounds. This role focuses on taking manufacturing operations to the next level for production, planning, quality, H&S and overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities of Shift Production Manager:
- Lead manufacturing/production operations, covering both automated and labour intensive processes, while seeking to automate processes where possible
- Develop and promote lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5s, 6 sigma, VSM, SMED, TPM, OEE, etc., across manufacturing operations
- Identify opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes
- Develop multi-functional/flexible manufacturing teams across operations
- Implement different KPIs across the factory
Qualifications and Experience for a Shift Production Manager:
- Previous experience within a senior production/manufacturing leadership position, e.g., Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Shift Operations Manager, Shift Production Manager, Production Lead, etc.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, motivate, develop, and improve teams
- Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment, practically implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques - Lean and Six Sigma
This position would suit a Production Shift Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Production Manager.
