Production Planning Manager

Production Planning Manager | Permanent | Sleaford | Excellent Salary
Cherry are looking for a dynamic Production Planning Manager for a forward thinking and expanding FMCG company. You will take a lead role and oversee the planning function to ensure production schedules fulfil customer fore-casted requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate the existing processes within production planning to look for opportunities to drive efficiencies
2. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and streamline processes
3. Overseeing the planning of production using IFS liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
4. Ensuring that a good quality service is provided and that all products meet the ISO 9001 standard.
5. Define and create comprehensive weekly production plan
6. Proactively review planning efficiencies in line with company KPIs and to support business growth
7. Develop strategies to streamline business processes
8. Oversee the management and development of the planning team
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the effective management of the production planning function
