Location: Ellesmere Port

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 23:15pm-07:00am

Salary: £17.13 p/h

My client, a leading manufacturer in their field, is seeking an experienced Production Planner/Demand Planner to join their team due to continued growth and expansion.

Production Planner / Demand Planner Requirements:

1. Experience working with an MRP system to schedule production
2. Experience working in a manufacturing environment
3. Self-motivated and results-oriented
4. Excellent organisational skills
5. Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions
6. Proven written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organisation
7. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Production Planner / Production Scheduler Duties:

1. Ensure production is scheduled in a timely manner to complete the production program
2. Primary contact for production for operations
3. Ensure that metrics and customer lead times are met
4. Optimize plant costs by adapting flow plans and adjusting for different scenarios
5. Ensure good communication and relationships with the wider production team
6. Monitor flows and escalate any deviations
