Production Planner
East Kilbride
Salary: 35,000 - 37,000 per annum

A long-established manufacturer is looking for an Production Planner / Scheduler to join their team. The company produces high-precision engineered components used globally.

Overview of the Role

As a Production Planner / Scheduler, you will play a vital role in ensuring manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and update production schedules.

  • Develop and maintain production and material plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.

  • Streamline processes to help production meet key deadlines.

  • Lead capacity planning processes and run regular production review meetings.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to keep operations on track.

  • Develop innovative solutions to process challenges, aligned with business objectives.

  • Report on key deliverables and status updates.

Experience & Skills

  • Strong MRP planning skills with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with bills of materials and routings (advantageous).

  • Proven track record in a manufacturing environment, ideally using ERP systems.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

  • Proactive approach to workload management.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
