Production Planner

Production Planner required for a manufacturing business based in Redditch. You shall initially work as a temporary (PAYE) worker in this role with the possible future progression to a permanent member of staff.

As Production Planner, you will ensure the supply flow of materials allows the business to meet all its production requirements OTIF.

As their Production Planner, you will be responsible for:

1. Ensure that all daily production requirements are achieved by ensuring the correct material supply and availability.
2. Manage all paperwork related to the above and the management of works orders.
3. Work closely with the Production and Purchasing teams to understand requirements and availability.
4. Manage and update any Production Planning MRP related tasks.
5. Continually strive to improve processes to better achieve production targets.

To be successful in this role as a Production Planner you will need:

1. To have worked as a Production Planner or Material Planner within a manufacturing business.
2. Experience in using MRP systems and have the ability to quickly learn new systems.
3. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Packages, especially Excel.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
