Production Planner Littlehampton Up to £35,000

A motivated and dynamic Production Planner is required to join a globally recognised manufacturer who supply products to a wide range of engineering industries.

The successful candidate will take on a high level of autonomy and play a key role in optimising production processes and ensuring seamless supply chain management. Collaborating closely with the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating across departments to ensure timely product delivery.
  • Creating and implementing comprehensive production plans to meet both short-, mid-, and long-term objectives.
  • Designing a matrix to accompany production plans, and overseeing the creation and monitoring of company KPIs.
  • Ensuring customer demands are met in full, on time, and efficiently.
  • Maintaining effective communication with both the customer support and operations teams.
  • Proactively managing the order book to ensure smooth workflow.

Working Arrangements

  • Office-based role at the Littlehampton site, with work scheduled five days a week.
  • Enjoy an early finish every Friday.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven background in Production/Materials Planning (Essential).
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments where products are created or manufactured (Essential).
  • Strong understanding of material flow (Essential).
  • A driven individual with a desire for long-term progression (Essential).
