Production Planner

Production Planner - Food Manufacturing
Location: Redditch
Working Hours: 04:00 - 12:00 (Early Start)
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our client's team in Redditch within the food manufacturing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company, ensuring the smooth and efficient planning of production schedules to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and manage daily and weekly production schedules, ensuring alignment with business demands.
2. Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or overproduction.
3. Liaise closely with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure efficient workflow.
4. Analyse production data to improve efficiency and minimise waste.
5. Adjust production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and unforeseen disruptions.
6. Work proactively to identify bottlenecks and resolve scheduling conflicts.
7. Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience in production planning within a food manufacturing environment.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
4. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
