Production Operative - Inspector

Location: Cardiff
Shift Pattern: Days
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour, increasing after successful probation
Contract: Temp-to-Perm

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team in Cardiff. This role involves preparing, processing, and inspecting components to ensure they meet strict quality standards. You will be responsible for operating surface treatment processes, handling materials safely, and maintaining accurate production records.

Priority will be given to candidates with experience in a similar manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Safely handle and move components throughout the production process to prevent damage
  2. Prepare components for processing as per instructions
  3. Operate surface treatment processes efficiently
  4. Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
  5. Unmask and clean components using designated materials

Skills & Experience Required

  1. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  2. Ability to follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills
