About Your New Employer

  • Our client is a family-run business established in 1969 and is now a global top 20 manufacturer of animal health products.
  • They employ over 1700 people, with 2/3rd of these based in their sites in Newry, Down.
  • They operate in over 100 countries, providing veterinary solutions worldwide, with a focus on improving animal health and productivity. They are looking to hire Production Operators of all levels 2 to 5.

About Your New Job As A Production Operator

  • As a Production Operator, you will be manufacturing high-quality products using approved processes within a manufacturing-controlled environment.
  • Understand and follow the company’s Health & Safety policies.
  • Comply with all aspects of the Quality System, adhering to the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice, ensuring products are manufactured within the defined parameters of the Quality Management System.
  • Operation of all processing equipment in accordance with current Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Completion of all documentation associated with the manufacture of a product in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practice.

What Skills You Need For Your New Job As A Production Operator

  • Ideally, you will have 6 months working in a regulated environment – food, pharmaceutical, or aerospace would be highly beneficial.
  • Strong level of written and verbal English as this will be tested internally before the interview.
  • Willingness to work shifts – shifts are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, and 10pm-6am (Monday to Friday).
