Production Operator

Role Type: Temporary

Primary Responsibilities:

To assemble, test and inspect products in line with production requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assembly & Manufacture of components, sub-assemblies, final assemblies of production and/or development products
2. Supporting the introduction of new products into manufacture
3. Inspection and testing of products including operation of automatic test equipment
4. Responsibility for self-inspection thereby requiring high levels of accuracy and quality of work
5. Responsibility for quality over check on completed assemblies
6. Welding, brazing, coil winding, encapsulation, soldering and machine operation

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

1. Basic numerical and literacy skills.
2. Must meet stringent Visual Acuity standards including colour blindness and depth perception.
3. Must have a minimum of two years previous experience within Weston Aerospace.
4. Staff are responsible for self-inspection so a high level of accuracy and quality of work is essential.
5. Should have capability to meet the criteria for issue of over check stamp.
6. This role requires the ability to work to Esterline Advanced Sensors processes and procedures and meet the required performance targets.
7. Must be able to work in a team environment.
8. Must have reached a minimum score of 120 during performance review.
