Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become Production Operators within our client's Cumbernauld-based manufacturing facility.

What's on offer?

  • £14 per hour - paid weekly
  • Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
  • Full-time temporary ongoing opportunity

Working as a Production Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Operating machinery, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse operations, including any reasonable tasks required for the upkeep of the site.
  • Operating and maintaining machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.
  • Conducting routine inspections of machinery to identify any faults or defects.
  • Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as required.
  • Ensuring that machinery is kept clean and well-maintained.
  • Reporting major issues with machinery so they can be fixed.
  • Recording checks done on machinery with a tick sheet.

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Experience with hand-held tools and drilling (beneficial, but not essential).
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • A good level of physical fitness.
