Job Title: Production Operator

Location: Fife – Hillend. On Site

Salary: Up to £27,000 commensurate with skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Assemble/process product in accordance with defined work instructions or detailed technical drawings.
• Repair/modify current and legacy products
• Use business systems to record product history/compliance

Your skills and experiences:

• Have a good understanding of an assembly discipline such as wiring, fitting, printed circuit board assembly
• Able to perform assembly/disassembly or modification tasks on electronic or mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems – encompassing new build, and repairs products
• Be formally qualified in appropriate Workmanship Standard e.g. ANSI J, IPC or similar, training will be provided

The Assembly team:

The BAE Systems facility at Hillend manufactures Electronic Sub-assemblies for a range of Defence applications for both internal and external customers. The Production Team are skilled in SMT, Hand Soldering and Mechanical Assembly processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business where training will be provided.
